What was Peter hoping to accomplish by building the three dwellings on the mountain? (9:5)


A voice from heaven has just told the disciples to listen to Jesus.  What is the first thing Jesus tells his disciples? (9:9)  Why is this so important?


Where are you in your relationship with God now?

  • going up the mountain

  • on the mountaintop

  • on the plains

Who is the "Elijah" who has already come?  (9:13)  Look again at Mark 1:2-4 and then at Malachi 3:1 and 4:5.  (Matthew 17:10-13 will also help you.)


In the healing of the boy with a spirit (9:14-29), upon whom does the boy's cure depend?
